Please Read the Important Information Below if You Wish to Provide Medication for Your Pet
We understand that some pets require medication, however it will not be possible to medicate your pet during the flight. You should check with your vet to make sure the pet can last the duration of the flight and if the pet should fly at all.
We are able to have our vets administer medication whilst in our care and we can attach a minimal amount to the crate for pre-flight and post flight medication. However, due to airline space restrictions, aviation security regulations and HMRC obligations, this should be restricted to what is necessary plus a small contingency for delays. We recommend 2 days.
If for any reason your pet is further delayed and requires extra medication, this can be prescribed by our vet where available, at the owner's expense. We cannot guarantee that the medication will reach the destination and therefore strongly recommend that you source medication at destination so whoever collects your pet has the medication available.
We are not liable should medication become misplaced, lost or removed during transit. We are not responsible for the onward forwarding of surplus medication received with your pet in excess of requirements or recommendations.
Please note:
If you will be providing medication that needs to be administered either in our care or during transit, we will need a letter from your vet stating the dosage, dates and best times for administration. We will also need a copy of your pet's clinical history.
